Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica adventurers! A land of peace, entertainment, and exotic tropical beauty. At your arrival at the Juan Santamaria International Airport you will meet with our travel director(s) and then be taken to your hotel. After checking in, an introductory briefing will be given and a welcome meal will be offered. Afterwards, enjoy yourself at the hotel and prepare for our first tropical adventure the next day.
Day 2 Good morning travelers! Today we are going to see the Irazu Volcano National Park. This Volcano has three craters that can be appreciated from a distance of less than 10 feet. After your full escorted trip to see the volcano we will go back to our hotel for lunch. Afterwards, we will go visit the National Park, Tapanti. This national treasure provides visitors with numerous trails and with incredible sights at every corner of it. You will be fully escorted during your visit at this Natural reserve. Later on, we will come back to the hotel; this day your tour ends at the hotel (Costa Rica Sunshine provides a nocturnal stars watching tour for a small additional cost).
Day 3 Buenos dias! On this day, eat your breakfast and enjoy the ride to our next destination, some beach national parks. We will take you to Cahuita, which is a city with a distinguished Caribbean taste, and a unique feeling of peace. After checking in at our hotel it will be time to visit our first Beach destination, Cahuita national park. Our Guide(s) will take you through the multiple trails within this natural facility. Enjoy watching different species of birds, crabs, monkeys, reptiles, and other residents of the park. Later on we will come back to our hotel where you will enjoy the peaceful sound of the sea and the relaxing smell of sand.
Day 4 Good morning adventurers! After breakfast time, we will go to enjoy our next activity, snorkeling (weather permitting). You will be able to enjoy the Cahuita coral reef and submarine creatures. After this we will stop by a Caribbean style restaurant( if available) for lunch. Later on, we will head towards Manzanillo National Wildlife Refuge. Manzanillo is virtually an unexplored territory, actually the only current way to enjoy its natural sights and clear blue and green waters is afoot. You will be fully escorted at all times during your visit to this tropical destination.
Day 5 After a delightful breakfast, you may lay back and enjoy the ride to our next destination, Cartago city. We will have lunch at a local restaurant, and then get ready for our next destination that can either be a botanical center , where you can discover and learn about the different vegetal species in Costa Rica, or a Coffee plantation, where you can learn more about Costa Rica coffee, which has been catalogued as one of the best in the world. Afterwards, we will go to a souvenir store, that offers you a large variety of Costa Rican themed articles. This day your tour ends at the hotel.
Day 6 Your tour has come to an end today. Costa Rica Sunshine offers transportation from your hotel to the airport throughout the day. Thank you for choosing us and hasta la vista!
