Day 1 (arrive on a Sunday): Welcome to Costa Rica!

Days 2-3-4-5-6 (Monday-Friday): Welcome to First week of Spanish Classes!
You will already be enrolled into the program at the institute prior to your arrival, so no set up hassles when you arrive
Enjoy learning the fundamentals of the Spanish language in four 50 minute classes each day
After your classes each day, free salsa dancing lessons are offered to student if students wish to participate (optional)
The afternoons are yours to enjoy! We recommend touring the city of San Jose where you will be staying and dining at the local Costarican restaurants. Activities you may want to consider:
Taking some guided tours around the city to learn of its history and monuments
Visit the famous cathedral “Basilica de los Angeles”
Visit the famous monument of the Costarican hero, the drummer boy, Juan Santamaria
Visiting the night clubs and casinos if you want to show off the salsa you’re learning or to just have fun
Days 6 (evening)-7-8 (First weekend): Welcome to Manzanillo beach!
Enjoy staying Friday night through Sunday midday at a beautiful beach resort at Manzanillo
While you are at the beach, enjoy relaxing in the sun and pampering yourself with the resort’s spa treatments
If desirable you may want to go snorkeling along some of Manzanillo’s Caribbean reefs, go scuba diving in an underwater adventure, go horseback riding on the beach at sunset, or play golf at a world class course
On Sunday, day 8, you will go back to San Jose in the late afternoon so that you are ready for classes Monday
Days 9-10-11-12-13 (Monday-Friday): Welcome back to your Second week of Spanish Classes!
You will begin back at your Spanish classes at the Spanish Institute in San Jose taking four 50 minute classes, each day again offering free salsa lessons following
Afternoons may be spent as you want to (see list of options and suggestions in First week of Spanish classes above)
Days 13 (evening)-14-15 (Second weekend): Welcome to the Monte Verde Rainforest!
Enjoy staying two nights in a lovely rainforest resort/lodge with excellent services and great park views
Go canopying (zip-lining) through the rainforest and feel the rush of the cool Costarican air and enjoy the up-high beauties of the trees and wildlife*
Go on a guided tour with bilingual guides through the most beautiful rainforest in Costa Rica
Experience 5% of the world’s biodiversity
Encounter over 500,000 animal species
Attend a bird watching session and get to spot exotic birds in the wildlife*
Buy your own Canary in Costa Rica and take it home with you*
Go mountain biking through rainforest mapped paths*

Days 16-17-18-19-20 (Monday-Friday): Welcome back to your Third week of Spanish Classes!
Continue your daily courses (and salsa if desired) each day
At the end of the week, since this is your last week, you will receive a certificate of completion that you may show off when you return home
Remember this is your last week in San Jose, so make sure that your afternoons you are doing all of the recommended activities that you don’t want to miss out on before it is too late.

Day 21 (Saturday morning): Airport Transfer!
